Default age difference...how big of an issue?

OK, here is the question....how do you perceive a 28 year old male dating a 20 year old (almost 21...in 7 months) female?

...and to further complicate things, what if the 20 year old looked like she was 16?

Post your honest opinion...don't be too harsh though

As long as the two of you are happy, then who cares what others think.

Sounds like party time, it would be better if she was 21 so she could at least go out and booze. Of course now you can go out and booze to meet other hotties and still have the 20 year old lined up.

Not to mention it is Kansas!!

There are many ways to look at it and many things in consideration. For instance, if the girl is very mature (for 21), then its cool. After all, once you past say 26 or so, the gaps are not as apparent. And if you both are happy, then its all good. And it also all relative. For instance when you're 35, she'll be like 27 or so. That's perfectly ok, I think. But if you're 25, then she's like 17 and that's no good.

I know this couple where the GIRL is 12 years older than the guy, and they have two kids and are very happy. And you would never know that there was an age gap because of how nice they are together.

More than half-a-year away is not "almost 21"!

Now, to answer your question:

When you're 100 she'll be 92, but she'll look like she's 88. Who'll know the difference?

I dated a woman older than me one time. She was 29 and I was 20. We were together for a year and things worked out fine for the most part, but our long term goals weren't in alignment. Just something to think about...

The girl does not drink or smoke and she can still get in bars but can't drink so it does not matter anyway.....
