Default AIDS Test

I have slept with only a handful of people but have been on the receiving end of countless oral sex encounters. But for the past few weeks/months I have been extremely nervous about getting HIV/AIDS. All of the intercourse partners I used condoms but for about half of the oral sex I did not use protection. I am really freaked out that I may have contradicted HIV. By saying that I mean I did not know the females at all and they were one-time encounters so I know of no history of them.

So I think about this almost every day. But I know your thinking why don't you go get an AIDS test. Well if I do have HIV right now I would rather not know about it because it freaks me out soooo bad to even think I might have it and will die in a few years. Plus I have had a gf for a few months now and I am so scared that maybe if I had it then I could have given it to her. I don't know whats wrong with me. I have never been freaked out over anything like this before. Please help me.

Get tested. Yeah, it would be scary to find out you're HIV+, but not nearly as scary as finding out after it turned into full-blown AIDS.

PM s2000raj or tenblade. I know they can't give specific advise, but they may be willing to tell you how infection occurs, what behaviors are risky, and about testing. I would find out about your state's reporting requirements in the event of a positive test.

Good luck.

From what I understand it is the person giving the oral sex, who has the increased possibility of acquiring HIV. HIV is not transmited thru saliva, but it is thru semen, or vaginal secretions and blood.

I found this two articles that I hope help. By no means am I supporting or agreeing with what the articles say, I am just transmiting the information to you.

Just my 2 cents.

If you are nervous get the test. It is very difficult for a man to get HIV from receiving oral sex unless skin is broken in the process by teeth or whatever. If you do have HIV, now days HIV in the US is more a chronic disease than a death sentence. WIth the right medication it is fightable (not curable, but fightable), but if you are infected and don't get on medication then you are more likely to develop AIDS which is many many times more a death sentence. The longer an infected person waits the higher likelyness of developing AIDS.

From what you've explained though the chances of your acquiring are small, so get the test, ease your mind and go on with your life. Be safer in the future after you get your negative test so you won't have to worry about it again.

Did they call you on the phone with the results? Or did you have to go in? Can you explain what happened?
