Not only are you risking your own life, you're risking your girlfriends life too.. Suck it up and get the test. I've had many over the years, it's an unfortunaly necessity in this day and age

If you are nervous get the test. It is very difficult for a man to get HIV from receiving oral sex unless skin is broken in the process by teeth or whatever. If you do have HIV, now days HIV in the US is more a chronic disease than a death sentence. WIth the right medication it is fightable (not curable, but fightable), but if you are infected and don't get on medication then you are more likely to develop AIDS which is many many times more a death sentence. The longer an infected person waits the higher likelyness of developing AIDS.

From what you've explained though the chances of your acquiring are small, so get the test, ease your mind and go on with your life. Be safer in the future after you get your negative test so you won't have to worry about it again.
