If the battery is low enough the fuel injection and electronic ignition will not function, even on a push start. Try charging the battery or jump=starting before you panic too much. There is also at least one tip-over sensor that may need to be reset or may malfunction and not reset. Don't go futher in diagnosis until you have enough juice in the battery.

my fuel injection and electronic ignition all turn on... all my lights turn on too soo i dont think the battery is that low. But when im cranking the motor the light just keeps on diming until it dies out..... And for ragingazn the reason why i got a crashed bike is because it was really cheap...

thanks andy (still no sleep soo sorrie again for spelling)

You'll probably find more Gixxer owners over at Sportbike.net. But in your position you need a maintenance manual sooner than later anyway. See if Clymers or Haynes has a book for your model year yet.

If it has been sitting for a while, the injectors are probably gummed up with old gas. I'd try cleaning them. The first year I stored my bike for the winter, I did not run the gas out. It was a B**ch getting it started 6 months later.

Don't let anybody scare you off about rebuilding a wreck. I've done 2 so far. The first one cost me $600 total. I put 20k miles on it and sold it for $2000! Great investment.

Try moving this thread to the bike talk forum, you may get more help there.
