Am I a sissy if I got manicure done?
OK personally it's nice when a guy has nice hands. A guy getting a manicure is not gay at all, actually very "METROSEXUAL". My brother in law gets his hands and feet done. I know several guys who get their feet done too. Trust me after you get away from the embaressment or shyness of your first time, you are going to love it AND SO WILL YOUR WIFE.

I mean, what's up with the whole gay man purse bs?
my boyfriend has big, rough, strong man-hands. but they're full of callouses from working out so much. you shouldn't care if other guys think you're a sissy...your woman will definately care when you rub her body and hurt her with your callouses.
my boyfriend gets manicures every now and then and i love it when he does. but keep in mind that when your callouses are removed during your manicure, they'll grow back.

Isn't "metrosexual" synonymous with "homosexual virgin?"

what is a metrosexual?
The newly popular media and marketing buzzword seems to mean different things to different people, but in general, a metrosexual:
-is a modern, usually single man in touch with himself and his feminine side;
-grooms and buffs his head and body, which he drapes in fashionable clothing both at work or before hitting an evening hotspot;
-has discretionary income to stay up to date with the latest hairstyles, the newest threads, and the right shaped shoes;
-confuses some guys when it comes to his sexuality;
-makes these same guys jealous of his success with the ladies -- for many metros, to interact with women is to flirt;
-impresses the women who enjoy his company with the details that make the man;
Among them:
-his appreciation for literature, cinema, or other arts
-his flair for cooking
-his savoir faire in choosing the perfect wine and music
-his eye for interior design
-is a city boy or, if living a commute away from downtown, is still urbane, if not rightly urban;
-enjoys reading men's magazines...

the comforter i use at home is of a silk type material that has the same problems with my hands.
I say GO FOR IT! I brought my Dad for a pedicure for Fathers Day, he was definitely abashed by the situation. But the next day, he said it helped because he had a perpetual foot sore and it disappeared. The next week, he bought a foot spa (secretly). Forget about the sissy comments!
for manicure!! Throw in a pedicure while you are there too! Get the deluxe package man!!

i wear suits to work sometimes, and the callous on my hands, being almost the texture of velcro, would cling and pull on the threads and surface texture.
