I love the Discovery channel, especially American Chopper! Those guys are great. American Hot Rod is a new show by the same people who made Chopper. It's not as good(my opinion) but still cool to watch! Anyone else watch these shows? I think i'm addicted!

Yeah, I know what you mean... Last night I was glued to the tube for the whole sequel of half hour segments showing Boyd Coddingtons shop restoring a 56 Chevy "Junkyard Dog" from rusty junk to finished product for a client in time for the Las Vegas SEMA show. Couldn't turn it off

 

S1997, I'm glad i'm not the only one! That show was on for a few hours last night, and I watched them build that car from start to finish. It came out awesome though! Chopper comes on tonight.

I don't like American Hot Rod as much. They're trying to hard to create conflict but it doesn't feel real.

 

American Chopper is, by far, my favorite show on TV. I love to see them create those bikes. All the drama is just a bonus.

 

So, what did you guys think about the Jay Leno bike?

To be honest, it's my favorite of their projects so far. I loved the old school feel of the bike. The only other project I liked as much was the Cody bike that Cody and Paul Sr. built together.

American Hot Rod has cool projects and I enjoy watching the process, but as someone else noted, the conflict seems too forced...
