Anthrax and Driving a Convertible

And by the way, I would not consider a convertible is much more dangerous than any other car.

Actually, JohnyBoy, once you're symptomatic with pulminary anthrax, you're as good as dead. Sorry. The first victim was treated after he presented symptoms. He received aggressive therapy and died. The second victim seems to have been found infected before presenting symptoms. God bless him and good luck to him.

I've put 17,000 miles on my S2000 over the past 16 months. I drove with the top up twice, once for 10 minutes, another time for about 20. I'll be driving with my top down unless my neighbors start falling over.
Sort of makes you think about what's important in life. It is a far better thing to drive with your top down than to fly a plane into an office building. Mohamed Atta and his friends were far too serious, and took themselves and their twisted values far too seriously, much more seriously than they deserved to be taken. While getting ground into a minor ecstasy during the lap dances the night before, they should have said, f^ck this, I'm getting an S2000, I'm going to enjoy this life instead of taking so many.
I hope if there is a crop dusting lunatic out there with his bin full of Anthrax he has the epiphany that Mohamed Atta did not, that he abandons his plan of mass murder and chooses life under God's beautiful blue sky.
Driving your S2000 with the top down is important. Thou shall not kill. It is OK to drive with your top down.

I don't get it....I questioned someone on this very issue a few weeks ago. In case you've missed news reports, America is under attack. It was also determined that the first person (and recently deceased) contracted anthrax from his computer board at work. He worked for a tabloid that has evidently written several scathing reports on the Taliban and Hussen. Easy to sit there and pass judgement from the safe confines of your borders.
