Default Anthrax and Driving a Convertible

Confirmation of a second case of Anthrax in Florida - in a building not far from where Mohamed Atta took flying lessons. Anyone here believe in coincidences?

Any of you Florida owners have any thoughts about top down driving in the sunshine state?

..as if we don't have enough to worry about.

But still, an interesting and thought provoking observation.

if I lived there I would. A canvas roof won't stop much besides rain. don't forget the vents lead to outside air...

Don't forget, Anthrax does occur naturally. You have to look at the specific strain to determine if it was manmade.

You're a nasty piece of business 2x6. I can't believe the depths you will plumb in order to keep pushing your point.

You wonder why there are extremists on the other side - simply to counter the ultra right extremism barrow you keep pushing.

I'm sick to death of the hatred and vitriole you keep spouting - from now on you are on the ignore list.

I am not a right winger much less an ultra right winger.

When the first Anthrax case was reported next door to where Mohamed Atta took flying lessons, I thought about the value of a Lexus with a micron air filter, and the risks of driving a convertible. The second reported case of Anthrax, in the same location, sort of clinched it for me. The fact is Saddam Hussein has weaponized Anthrax. The last reported case of puliminary Anthrax in Florida was about 30 years ago. What do you think the chances of 2 in a row next door to where Atta hung out?

You may convince yourself that bioterrorism is not an issue. If a crop duster releases Anthrax over an American city, you can argue how it is unrelated to what we're going through now.

Anyway, I thought about it, and posted it. Vitriol? I'd say that's your department. This country is at war - we've been attacked and I think the consensus of folks, in this country, is that we'll be attacked again - not because I'm an ultra right winger, or because America has done anything wrong, but because there are cultures full of hate, where normative values approve of or justify the attacks we've already suffered, and those which we may suffer in the future.

Stick your head in the sand or whatever dark place you feel is most appropriate, but don't confuse criticising hatred for hatred. The folks you apologize for, those are the haters.

Surely this is not so much of a coincidence when you consider that the two people infected worked in the same office, and a potential source has been traced to that office.......

And by the way, I would not consider a convertible is much more dangerous than any other car. If anthrax is realesed into the atmosphere, very few cars are going to keep you safe......
