WHAT!! Everything I've ever heard or been taught for that matter is to fight to the death from the get go because your likelihood of being killed by the perp is often very high.

 

That may be true if you're attacked by a random stranger on the street, but the fact is the vast majority of women are raped in their own home by someone they know.

Rape, and the mental trauma associated with it is all in the mind, let us not forget that this is an enjoyable act under the right circumstances. In my opinion, women should go along with the rape until the opportunity arises when they can can put their thumbs in the assailant's eyes.

you guys are taking this thing out of context. in the western world rape is considered a crime of power, basically meaning that it is an accelerated version of bullying, for lack of a better term.

over there, there is a huge aids epidemic, and a widespread misconception, is that when you rape someone, you purge the virus from your own body.

they actually belive that by raping someone, the aids goes away. this a big factor as to why they have 40 + million people with aids.

yes, maybe the attacker would be so pissed off that he would hurt or kill the victim.

that is like saying that people shouldnt have pepper spray because it might just piss the attacker off and they would hurt you more. when you buy a can of pepper spray, you take that risk. and if it were me in that position, i would definatley consider the ability to deter an attack, or to defend myself from one to be worth the risk that they may cause further harm.

also, can any of you actually say that if your dick just got put through the grinder, you would take time to beat someone up over it. no ****ing way. you would haul ass to the hospital in a rush against time to save your dick.

eihter way, they dont just get raped, and suffer mental trauma as someone said earlier, they get raped, and they are almost certain to get aids. Also, (and i'm not directing this at the person who made the comment) but you cant belittle the lasting mental effects of rape. especially from a male point of view, we have little to no basis for comprehending this type of abuse. and i think it is sick, how a lot of men think that girls are over reacting to the mental effects of rape, and that they should just go with it, and live through it. some things are worse than death to some people.

also, this isnt the mind of a normal rapist. this is the mind of a desperate person who is misinformed, and thinks that raping someone will preserve his own well being. completley different from the motivation of the rapists that we see on the evening news.

for example, during WWII the german soldiers participated in some really sick shit. germany as a society was barley different from any other westen society, meaning, it wasnt like they were a bunch of barbarians who didnt know any better, or didnt have the same set of moral values. instead they were people who were overwhelmed with propoganda that encouraged an extreme level of violence.

these people in africa, are in a similar situation. i have gone way off of my inteneded course, but the basic point is, that these guys are not raping for the same reason that rapists in america rape.

therfore you cant make generalizations about this situation, based of off our own experiences.

so here are the choices:

get raped and get aids

or use this device, and maybe piss the rapist off enough to hurt you. is there really anything to think about?
