Nope, Got the big line thru the Anti-Stook Club!!!! Just like everything else you see these days. Big circle around a cigarett, and a line thru it meaning No Smoking!

Nope, if I was doing your badge, it would be "Stook" with a circle around it, with a diagonal line thru it!

I've never used the dreaded term and would like to see it eliminated from usage.

If you bought it, I guess you can call it whatever you want. If your daddy bought it for you, you better ask him.

Seriously, I would imagine that many of the early members on this board made reference to the car using this term but it has slowly decayed away with fewer and fewer following suit.

I too have grown tired of the reference to car as a stook and assume it will decay completely away with a little more time. Meanwhile if someone wants to call it that, let them have it and the more vocal and those that like conflict will call them to task for it!

PS, now that I look at it, my nick name could be considered too.... hum... that sucks... kinda negates my right to complain about stook... dam'it!

I thought this went away. Why is this a hot thread -- one post since 9/9?

actually "stook" is a much nicer word than what I call my S2000 when the transmission grinds, the driver's window fails to roll down, the A/C leaks on my girlfriend's feet, the top cover boot flys up and hangs only by its elastic cords and the Protenza SO2's lose traction during rain or fog.

Will the hallowed executive committee of the Anti-St**k club consider admitting me, a sinful S2000 owner who in several of his previous posts has demeaned his beautiful automobile by referring to it as his "st**k"?

I have seen the light and repented for my use of the horrendous term.

May I become a member of this exalted club??
