Default Anti towing techniques?

Well, im having a dispute with parking at my local college parking lot(not the s2k, just my beater 4*4).

However, they absolutely refuse to give me a parking pass this year(last year was no problem) and there is literally nowhere else to park, and threatining to tow vehicles.

So, i was wondering if anyone had some insight on how to prevent my vehicle from getting towed... hehe

You could park on the sidewalk or off road. But then you risk vandlization and a boot being thrown on your car. By a motorcylce and park infront of the door.

I've had some personal experience with this from my high school days, and a buddy's Jeep.

Our school decided to be douche bags about the parking pass situation, so he just figured screw it, and drove anyway. He would follow this very order every single time he pulled into a parking space:

1. park the Jeep in gear
2. engage the parking brake
3. engage 4wd LOW range
4. turn the steering wheel till it locked

Tow THAT, bitches!! He never got his car towed or booted. I'm sure there were some tickets involved, but who the hell cares about those? Stick it to the man!

actually, do you remember back in the days when you see a tow truck, they have 4 small wheels, two on each side? well. what they do is put those on the side of your car. jack your car up and move it out. they will either raise your front, or just use a flat bed. if they are on a flatbed, you are lucky, nothing is going to happen. if they tow with your front up hope you don't receive any mechanical damage.

Hehe... Figured somerthing out

Cranked the wheel, all the way till lock, pop the hood and jam a heel bar in the universal steering joint. If he finds his way in to open it, and unlock the cloumn, the bar will get jammed in the link(all you gotta do is crank it back and lock the steering cloumn with the key to get it out). Those two wheels on the side of the truck can only be used when the wheels are pointed straight.

I could put in in 4 lo, but it has locking hubs, he could just unlock the hubs(if he was smart, lol uhh no)

I park in a parkade and there is absolutley no way a flatbed can get in there(literally will hit the roof).

Sticking it to the man

yeah, and I guess you've never seen a tow truck pull a vehicle out of a parallel space sideways, then drag it up on the flatbed, tires squealing, and haul it away. Hell, he could just drag the truck out, put the dollies on the rears, lift the front and take it away. Ever had a boot locked on your wheels? If you thought your truck was immobile before, try and drive with a 30lb. block on two wheels. Have you figured a way to keep tickets from being written? I'm guessing not.

try not parking illegally. you're not nearly as smart as you think.

My method is tested and works.

Drive to school, drive around until you find a spot. Pull in, put in park, go to class.

I don't think they'll boot the car. After all, the point is to free up parking spots. If one guy can't tow the car though, then they'll send someone else out there to get the job done, until they GET it done. I'm still interested to see if your plan works.

By the way, I am on the side of don't park illegally.

Or you could park in a spot that requires payment (preferrably a parallel parking spot), remove your license plate, and cover the vin number on the dash of your car (that's where mine is). They can't write a ticket because they can't check the owner of the car.

I tried it once and forgot to cover the vin number on the dash. They just called the DMV and got my info from them. Doh!

Then you can get your car impounded for having an unregistered/possibly abandoned vehicle on a public road.
