Default Any cops in here? I have a license question

Alright long story short I got my license suspended here in Texas.I had a ticket, they sent out letter to and old address.I had 20 days to setup some court date but of course that never happened cause I didnt know. Now my license is suspended until next February!! They told me I cant even pay crap to get it back.So only thing I can think of is this.

Can I just go get an out of state license? If I get pulled over I just act like I dont even live in Texas? I can find a relative that lives out of Texas and use their address.Take the driving test and get a license there.

My question is,will they check if my DL is suspended in my old state? Im assuming if this goes thru and I get pulled over here in Texas they will send my tickets to the out of state address.

I need to come up with something soon cause im going crazy over here.

If I rememer right, your name would come up on their computer as a suspended license in texas, even if you could get a new one. One of my friends was driving with a suspended license and got pulled over. He told the officer he didnt have his license with him, but he had one. He just got his name and info and he went and ran it. He came back and arrested him and asked him if he knew his license was suspended. So I dont think its that easy to get away with it. Also cant you somehow take it to court and bring some paperwork or anything that proves that you moved from the location they sent the letter to? I think you might be able to get it back if they understood and could prove that.

^It's his fault for not informing the DMV that he'd moved. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse. I think he's just going to have to take it.

Not having a license never stopped anyone from Mexico from driving here in California. Every time they set up a sobriety checkpoint in my area they catch tons of people driving without a license.
Sorry if that's not PC, but it's a true statement.

Im not a cop but w/ 9 points on my license and several dozen court appearances you could say I know my sht Too bad Im in Cali. Im not sure about the laws in Texas. But I recommend you contact the court regarding that citation. Looks like you failed to comply by the due date (i.e Show up to court, pay the fine, etc).

I wouldnt let it stand because it will most certainly got to a collections dept and the fine will only get bigger.

You have to be able to prove residency to get a driver's license in any state. Also, holding driver's licenses in multiple states, even if one is suspended, is a felony that's punishable with actual jail time. You're supposed to surrender all licenses when you get a new one.
