I just got an offer with my Robb Report magazine for a card that builds up points you can use towards private jet travel.

They were giving me a $500 discount on the annual fee, charging only $1,000 per year. Oh lucky me!

I don't make enough money to need that. I may never need it no matter how much money I make.

I like the AMEX Centurion card, though.

You'll get a lot less cash back if you dont carry a balance.
i'm not sure what your credit card policy on carrying a balance is. but if u carry a balance. you get an extra 5% return, along with that goody....... they charge you on interest. card like these charge about 19% interest. so basically they tricked you into getting up to 10% cash back while they're sitting and earning money on your debt.

NEVER CARRY A BALANCE.

You're right, I'm just saying that their 5% cash back isn't true because you only get the additional 2% cash back bonus when you carry a balance. Otherwise it's 3% or less.

Dave, you have the centurion card?

I'm with Steven975. I use USAA as well and although there are no bells and whistles, a $5000 limit at 7.0% apr aint too shabby. Got my loan for the S through them as well and just recently, I'll be there bitch for 30 years paying off my new house.

a little late..... i get 1% back in the form of Free Toys at Toys R US...by using a chase Toys R US card...

I have used it since 1997 and so far have gotten just over $3000 of free toys..... i charged $300k.... i charge everything I can.... i pay it off monthly....

My real estate taxes for my rental houses were $9k.... that = $90.00 of free toys.
