I just bought an engagement ring a few months ago and gave it to my Gf (now my fiance), last month.
Specs on mine are close to yours.
Carat = 1.00
Color = E
Clarity = VS1
Cut = Excellent
Polish = Excellent
Symmetry = Very Good
I paid $5200 in a basic setting. Bought in the diamond district Manhattan. Hope this helps.
