any doctors here?
If your parents still cover some of your expenses (which i assume means they still like you) and they have insurance my guess is that you are covered under your families insurance plan. Worth calling and asking... If its a major problem the longer you wait the worse it could be.
Hopefully it is only a minor problem.

I actually just got health insurance this week.
I am in the same boat, off of parents med insurance and not quite a full time student.
I am 21, smoker and health insurance for me will be $70.90/month. $250 deductible.
90% ins, 10% me for the first $1200 and 100% insurance coverage over that.
I also got eye and dental 40% - 80% discounts off of dental/eye work/visits/glasses etc for $10 more per month. So all that for basically $80 a month.
Get health insurance. I thought similar to you about price until I checked into it.
BTW - that all also includes $5-$20 co-pays.

I used to work a lot more when i got my s2000 turboed. Im not saying im really broke, but i dont make anywhere close to what i used to make. I am a full time student. My parents dont pay for anything bc i moved out, but we have a good relationship. Ill look into it either way. Never really thought of health insurance as a big deal, but i guess it is. And at $80 a month, thats a lot cheaper than what i used to think. Plus i am not a smoker.
I was lifting dumbbells and doing ab workouts. I used to work out and then took a 2 month break. Then i started back up. I guess ill just stop working out and rest until it heals. Ill start looking into health insurance as well.
Thanks guys!

Naproxin is not Motrin. They are both NSAIDS, but Motrin is ibuprofen.
what i meant, is both of them are anti inflammatories, and that motrin is the one you can get off the shelf --
but thanks for setting it straight for all to understand
..
Unless your in already in excellent shape, there is no way running/walking that distance and than lifting for 45 min. can be good.
I can keep an 8 min. pace for about 3 miles and I'm done,no weight lifting after, drink some water ,get a shower and chill.
Running/Walking that much is gonna be totally counterproductive if your trying to lift afterward.
1.Your gonna be lucky if you can move 40% of your max on your resistance movements.
2.That amount of running/walking is gonna use a ton of nutrients your muscle need to recover from lifting. If they don't have it the first things you'll notice is "No Muscle Growth", second is your gonna severely increase your risk of injury.
Only way you'd be able to get enough nutrients is with a 3000+ calorie diet heavy in carbs, and that will defeat the purpose of running that much.
I suggest you use the 10 mile route 1-2 times a week and drive the rest of the time.
Trust me just about everyone injures themselves at one time or another if they are real serious about lifting, I injured my shoulder a few months ago, couldn't even shoulder press 5lbs....4 weeks of zero upper body training and a couple session with a message therapist and i was good as new.
Take a couple weeks off and see how you feel.
