BLACK!
Either both the first man AND second man have white soles (both are telling the truth) -OR- the first man has black soles and the second man has white soles (the first man lied about and said he had "white" soles, the second man told the truth about what he said.) Logically the first man could NOT have white soles and tell the truth, while the second man has black soles and lies, since the first man would have said "white" and the second man would have to lie and say "black". THEREFORE, since the second man HAS to have white soles, and the third man knows he has white soles, he lies by saying "black -- HE has black soles.
Whew!!!

basically, the first man HAS to say he has white soles no matter what because if he has white soles then he'll tell the truth. If black soles, then he'll say that he has white soles.
ok, this is for all you crazies out there....
You must take an old, old bridge across a deep, dark chasm. It is dark and there are so many steps missing that you ask to borrow a flashlight. Three forest people approach and offer you a flashlight in return for helping them across the bridge. Now the bridge allows a maximum of 2 people at once, and there must always be someone on the bridge holding a flashlight for safety (there is only one flashlight). In addition, the three forest people take 2, 5, and 10 minutes respectively to cross the bridge. You, being highly motivated, need only 1 minute.
No problem, you think, we'll just take turns walking folks back and forth with the light until we're all across. But the bridge is enchanted and every million years, it vanishes for a century and that will happen in exactly 17 minutes.
How will all four of you make it to the other side of the bridge in 17 minutes?
Note:
Call these people #1 #2 #5 and #10. If you and #10 go across and you return, that takes 11 minutes. Then you and #5 could go across and you return; we are now up to 17 minutes... *poof* - bridge is gone.
The light carrier doesn't have to be you. If the light carrier is accompanied by anyone, they must stay together the whole way across - you cannot have one person stand in the middle and shine the light.
No piggy-backs, no simultaneous-2-way-crossings, etc.)

OK Integrate, where the hell do you come up with this stuff? lol
Does it matter what color the soles of our shoes are? How about if we are short or tall or afraid of elevators? Could we actually be fish with the light on or off? Is this in the woods with a burning plane? Did the dog make it with us? Do we have to be buried? Are we burning wicks with dots on our foreheads? We're not eating each other are we? Are we gonna' die??? Anyone got a dollar left?

cork = .05
bottle = 1.05
1.05 + .05 = $1.10
or is this a trick question?
A boy is going to have his first date. He wants to know how to act on his date, so he goes to the library to look for some advice. He finds a book titled "HOW TO HUG". He checks it out, rushes home with it, and starts reading. He is disappointed with the subject matter, as it is not what he expected.
Why was he disappointed with his choice of book?
