Default Any good music converting programs?

Is there any programs that can covert a bunch of different music file types to mp3. I have tried downloading a few, but they are all crap. Thanks for anyone who responds.

iTunes - http://www.apple.com/itunes/

It's available for both Mac and Windows. It manages your entire music library, and allows for 1-click CD burning to bring music in your car.

It also allows you to access the now famous, iTunes Music Store.

You can setup the encoding options in the preferences to encode MP3 audio however you like. I prefer the new MPEG-4 audio standard, AAC. It provides higher quality audio at the same file sizes as MP3. Once you've done that, select your music, and go to 'Advanced > Convert Selection to MP3.'

I hope this helps.

30-Day trial of Sound Forge. I have used it professionally. I think it can convert 50 formats to MP3, natively.

Music Match is the best in my opinion.
