transfer songs between itunes and Music Match?
(1) I can't get the songs I PAID for on music match to go to my ipod.
(2) If I have a song in music match, I can't bring it over to itunes and vice versa...
I've heard there is a way to get around this....can anyone help.

gotta love DRM.
musicmatch's music is encoded in the WMA format (windows media audio) which Apple does not support with its iPod.
you'll probably have to burn the music to a CD, read it, and it convert it to MP3 or AAC.

i believe it will lose the DRM thingy that the music stores use, but the songs themselves will be in WMA.
AAC is Apple's version of WMA. "Advanced Audio Coding"
you might lose some quality by going from one lossless codec to another lossless codec, but it may be your only chance if you want your MM music to work.

from there i'm not really sure. i use a mac and i've always used itunes music store, so i may not be the most reliable source.

try looking at that site for protected WMA->MP3 ways.
or you may be successful in just burning the CD and let iTunes try to read it, and then convert from there.
sorry i can't be much more of a help.

No, you burn the songs to a CD in Audio CD format that you can play in any CD player. Then you will have to re-rip those songs in iTunes like you would a regular CD. You will lose some quality going from one lossy codec to another, but only you can determine whether that bothers you. This problem is why I buy very, very little music online and stick to CD's.
