The PRS is my dream guitar - nothing else I've played can compare. I have several Ibanezes, a Strat, and a Strat copy currently, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a PRS sneak into my collection sometime. I've only played the Parker unplugged, and it felt nice, but didn't do much for me.

BTW, I just bought a Yamaha DG80 112 amp a week or so ago. Anyone looking for a new amp should try the DG line! Until recently, my amps had to have tubes, but w/ this one, I can't tell the difference. It emulates Marshall, Fender, Boogie, etc. sounds (not just the sound, but also the tube amp "feel"), is quiet and great sounding effects, and 128 presets. This is truly the coolest amp I've ever used - I had to buy one the day after I tried it. I first became intrigued w/ digital modeling amps by the Line 6 stuff, but never could warm up to it...looks of cool sounds, but the base tone was sterile and lacked the warmth of the real thing. The new Fender Cyber-Twin was close in areas, but seemed lacking in the distorted tones.

wow!!!! thanks very much guys for the sharing!!
I think i will get the parker fly in 3 weeks shipping from montreal since I prefer the very clear tone of the parker and the thin body, neck and it's weight more.
I like the PRS a LOT, it has very nice looking body and many friends suggested me with the PRS.
However, i've never got a chance to try the PRS and music123.com just told me that I have to wait about a year for a customiezed PRS (I think that's bull$hit, I have my LP SG ordered last year thru a dealer, it took only 2.5 months to make the guitar)

Mindcore, I will just wait for couple more days to hear some opinions from you after the comparision. Also, for the blue custom 24 you have, u said u got it for 2400 in CND or USD?

Here is the link for thier really shitty page. I think it was 2400 PLUS tax, but don't really remember. it was about a year ago. The place is on Queen Street in Toronto. They are one of the most renowned places in Canada. That's where I met Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and a host of other big stars. They usually have the lowest prices around. and a Huge selection. 3 months ago I was in and they had about 18 PRS's and 3 in Whale blue, which kinda sucks because everyone will want my colour
