I searched for threads on this but found none, just wondering, and if so what type (big game/ small?) I have been looking for a new shotgun for a a while and would like advice if there is any out there... (Rifles are not allowed for use in my county so no reason to get one...)

I have a Remington Wingmaster 12 guage. Short stock. It was modified for a gal but I like it because my arms are kind of short. 30' as opposed to 33' I also have a Savage .410 guage over and under .22 single shot on top. That is a fun gun. You can spend lots of money! Go to the Weatherby.com site if you want to see some beauties. You can spend thousands. Weatherby is the S2000 of shotguns!

What country are you from ? You could use slugs in a 12 gauge and have pretty good accuracy (have taken out deer with it ). One of my shotgun's is a SAS (South African Street Sweeper) and it's pretty fun with slugs loaded .

Personally, my favorite shotguns are remingtons' 1100 and 1187's. Another less known shotgun you could look into is the fabarm red lion, the ducks unlimited version. You can find them anywhere from 475-600. Well worth the craftmanship and detail.... as fabarm is belongs to H&K... Here's a link to a pic of one... http://www.monroedu.com/gun-fab.html
