Any Mensa members?

Doesn't look like anybody other than maybe JerseyGirl thinks it's worth it to be a member. $49 seems pretty high for what you get. Maybe it's a trick and the really smart people refuse to pay that much.

Have any of you taken the quiz on the Mensa website? Funny thing, maybe I was tired, but I did'nt do well the first test they had. But when they changed the test, I did much better. How old were you all before they realized the gift? They didn't notice on me until high school. They made me take the IQ test because I was getting bad grades, but I had perfect attendance, and they thought I had a learning disability. Ha Ha showed them. I just didn't care to do the busy work.

That's what I'm wondering. I haven't paid any dues yet and wasn't sure what you really get out of it. Is it just a membership card & a super secret handshake?

I took my IQ test in first grade. I did well enough on it to get in a gifted program. It was pretty cool. We got to do some really neat stuff.

I hate talking about stuff like this though. No way to do it without sounding cocky.

boy....it would be a sad day for Mensa...... I just took the mensa.org test......

Your score was 24 out of 30. That is a very good score, you would have a good chance of passing the Mensa test.

I missed 2 "numbers / pattern" related questions (they were easy too, i just did them too quickly) and the rest were the unscramble type.......

missed --->

7. Each number shown below follows a certain rule. Figure out the rule and fill in the missing number.
January 20
April 10
May 5
November 15
July ?

5 10 15 20 25

15. What is the following word when it is unscrambled? H C P R A A T E U
17. The same word can be added to the end of GRASS and the beginning of SCAPE to form two other English words?
19. Only one other word can be made from all the letters of INSATIABLE. Can you find it?
