Any musicians out there?
Reedz (James Mullins) is an oboist with the Army band at West Point. This is a group of outstanding professional musicians, most of them qualified to play in any top orchestra or band. If you haven't heard them play, you've missed a treat.
I've played guitar and piano for 20 years..
Sadly my only claim to fame is a jingle I wrote for a Tampax commercial
My band did open for some local bands, Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, etc.

Professional Cellist, Semi-Profession Violinist, Violist, and when they need me, a Bassist (I have 2 cellos, 1 Violin, 1 Viola, and 1 bass guitar). I'm also a semi-advanced Bass Guitar player, and I play drum-set for some local bands. Mm.. play a lot of other instruments but all for fun.
I used to be part of a band called One Winged Angel, and I was the DJ/keyboardist.
I've played many instruments, although these days I only play the keyboards, and that's only on occasion that I feel like it. I have played Tuba, trombone, and all 4 major saxophones. I used to be part of my high school band and had a small brass quintet that lasted my final school year. As for OWA, it fell apart because others didn't have the dedication and wanted to argue about who did what and where.
These days I'm more into producing independant techno/trance. Through my indie movie connections, I've done a couple music videos (directed/produced) for some local bands. But basically, I've kinda dropped out of the playing bit, more into the mixing, remixing and producing of nice hard beats ^_^

Well it's great to see we have multiple interests here. I'm not knocking the enthusiasm on S2K mods, but I personally find my stock S2K a fine car that definitely beats most other cars hands down in beauty and driveability. Anyone agree?
On another note. Wouldn't it be a kick if some of us who do home recordings were to pool are talents and come up with a bad ass song for the club?

I've been thinking about writing an S2000 song after the fashion of "Hot Rod Lincoln" or "409" or many other great classics. Actually I'm thinking more Junior Brown than Beach Boys style...
Weekend warrior saxophonist. Played for 20+ years. It amazes me that I can make a few $$$ on the weekends doing something I love to do!
Before the S2k, I used to play gigs 2-3 weekends/ month. The car - and mostly the fact that our band leader got married have contributed to a cutback in playing out!
We've opened up for Lenny Williams of Tower of Power... the amazing Platters and a few other R&B or jazz acts.

I'd like to play in a Rush cover band either just for fun or for paying gigs. It's tough to find anyone interested in that though.
