Default any odd superstitions?

I have 3 that i know of.

For some reason I always wear my right sock inside out, and I try not to end a set (lifting weights) on 13 reps unless i am flat out unable to do another one.

I also won't kill a spider..... I relocate them out of my house gently.....

Can you explain WHY you do those listed? If they are superstitions there has to be a reason why. Like some athletes do things in a certain order before every single game, because they think it's lucky or it might help them on their scoring streak whatever.

Off the top of my head. I can not thinkof anything i do for a particular reason. Gonna have to think about it for a few..

The sock thing just sort of happened and my roommate in college noticed it, so i stuck with it.

The 13 rep thing is common to avoid #13..... i have ended sets on 13, but it is fairly rare.

The spider thing.... again... i heard it was bad luck... plus I don't like killing things.... although I will kill flies or misqueto's that make their way inside my house.

I laugh at stupid ballplayers that do the same stuff between pitches, like r&r their hat, slap one elbow, then the other, twirl their bat, touch their shoulder... Then they strike out and look like an idiot.
I won't tell you the stupid things I do. MYOB, Scot.

I used to tie my track shoes (my 4.2oz Asics racers, bow down) right shoe, left shoe, right shoe again. Why? well I started off because I could never match the tightness the first try, but then it became a thing of habit I guess. Maybe its not really a superstition but I did it so much that it may be considered one.

I never leave the volume on my T.V. on a odd number.
I don't slit polls or trees when walking with my friends.

Not a superstition per se, but I always take slices of bread from the middle of the loaf, I just can't bring myself to take it from the end

Not a superstition, either, but when I was a kid, my mom would say that eating ear wax will make you go mute. Ok, I guess that's more of an old wive's tale. No, I have no idea why she would tell me that.

OK, I'll admit to one, since it was when I was a kid and I outgrew it. If I turned around, I always turned around the second time the opposite way, like I had to unwind. I have no idea why. Just felt the need.....
