Default Any Pharma Territory/Regional Managers Out There?

I'm looking to transition industries. I'm heavily investigating pharma/med-device sales, and hope you can be of assistance to me.

I've been in a professional outside sales role for the past 5 years handling customers in the plastic, secondary packaging industry. I handled an 18 state territory with a budgeted revenue in excess of $4.3 million, and consistently acheived this goal.

As i'd mentioned before, I would like to transition industries, and wondered if anyone here was part of the Merck, Pfizer, Schering-Plough, Eli-Lilly organizations out there and would mind reccomending me to the hiring manager if you know them.

Please advise.

Thanks guys!

-Blake

Any interest in moving to Canada?
I could connect you with an ex-pharmaceutical rep who is now a Technical Recruiter at my company in Ontario (Canada, again).

Let me know.

I'm not adverse to relocating in any direction. I was hoping for warm, but for the career, it's helpful to be flexible.

I was previously the East Coast Sales Manager for the Rehrig Pacific Company. Prior to that I was with the worlds largest manufacturer of corrugated plastic pipe. Glamorous I know.... Not. I should just go back to law.

Call 1-866-332-2373 x215 and you'll get Andrew Dale during business hours.

You can tell him Mike Berlin recommended you speak with him because of his background in pharma. I'll call him in the morning and let him know you might call at some point, so lemme know your name so he expects your call.

MIkeyCB,

You might be better off deleting your post and moving it to PM. You don't want a bunch of ppl calling your buddy.

OP,

Pharma sales is a great path to get into. My bro worked for McNeil Consumer Products for a while. The benefits, work hours, compensation, bonuses, trips, etc. all make it an excellent sales field to be involved in.

Sure I do. It's our corporate number and he's a recruiter

Our names and numbers are posted all over job boards like monster.com anyway. But thanks for the consideration tho!
