Default to anybody with a CRX

I recently bought a '90 CRX HF. Does anybody know if there is an online forum like this one for CRXs. I am about to purchase a Jap spec B16A2 and would like to talk to some people about engine swaps and such.

not going with a B18C?

seems like B16 swap is a popular choice.

from what I've heard the B18 is a taller block which would require cutting and welding for engine mounts which would have the engine and exhaust headers hanging dangerously close to the ground, or one of those rediculous hoods to cover the engine. I want a total sleeper so that kills the idea of the hood and I'm building it to be my daily driver which means I don't want to worry about hitting stuff on the road with the headers and stuff. I can't keep driving the S as my daily driver anymore but I need something a little entertaining. I think a RevHard turbo in this thing would make for an interesting ride BTW that was the fastest responce I've ever gotten! just for that I'm gonna buy something from you...uhm...I dunno what..................?

Are you changing the transmission as well? IIRC, the HF has really tall gearing.

You just have to get the right mounts for a B18C. They clear with the correct mounts. The B16 swaps are a popular choice due to costs.

B16a Sr1 = $1500
B16a Sr2 = $2500
B18C1 = $3200
B18C5 = $4000

Mount kits are around $400

I just started looking into it yesterday. I contacted ARD performance and got a quote of 2850 for everthing I'd need for the B16A1 swap. This includes the motor, cable tranny, motor mounts, harnesses, etc etc. he said it was EVERYTHING I'd need aside from some 3rd gen Integra axles. The jap spec B16A2 was 3850 for everything as well and I though I might go with this for the JDMness of it and the hydro tranny.
