I know - - - get a life - - - but I am completely hooked on the show.

I was watching last night, the San Diego roadshow, and this mother and son have a small metal toy (santa sleigh & two reindeer). The father purchased it for $70.00, it is appaised at @ $2,500.00 to $3,000.00. Why can't that happen to me?

My all-time favorite is the mother and daughter who are bitch and moan (good naturedly) that the father only buys junk at flea markets and is filling up the house. They pull out this ancient eskimo hunting helmet with ivory inlays (held on with scotch tape). The appaiser tells them it is worth like $50,000.00. The two women almost fall over.

Has anyone found a 'hidden' treasure in their house?

 

I love that show. It is so interesting to find out the history of some of the items and the value they are today. Maybe some day I'll drive in my S2000 and have them put a value on it.
