Default Anybody ever had a problem with a stalker or Peeping Tom?

My wife and I were informed by our community developer that we have a "Peeping' Tom" in our neighborhood. He knows our schedule and is in the vacant house next to us about once a week to watch as we get ready for work through our bed room window. I'm at a point where if I see this guy I'm going to let Mr. Glock do all the talkin'. I have never felt so violated in my life. I'm SOOOO PISSED!.

Today one of the developers caught and confronted the man in question and told him that if we ever see him again that we will press charges. I have a feeling he'll return. So what are my legal rights? I want my family to feel safe again.

We got his car make/model and tag. Turns out that the tag was stolen from a honda accord, when the police arrived and looked it up...BUT the guy was already gone!. I want to get this guy BAD!

Chime in and sure your experience and knowledge of these mentally disturbed individuals.

Current Methods of defense:
Glock .40 cal
Alarm system for the house
and
Reverse gear of the S2000 out of the garage

have you tried setting up video cameras around your neighborhood or area? have you seen him in person so that you can identify him from police records? do you own a dog or can borrow a dog?

Real quick story, we had a guy doing this to a friend of mine, she got worried enough to call me up and have me come over a few times, well by the third night I got tired of trounching over for rustling leaves so we decided to catch the guy, never could get around to finding him at night, so anyway a neighbor happened to catch the guy on night and got a ID on a car, funny how I know every import at the swchoold, so we found out who it was. Chased him down one afternoon and duck-taped him to a chain link fence for a few hours. Stripped him down and left him there for a while. Cured him of his problem at least for my friend. Now that I look back on it I am supprised that we did not get arrested for pulling that one.

Good story, StormBringer. I once had this chick who followed me around in the gym every day yammering and whining in my ear that everyone made her cry, everyone cheated her, she had no money. She said someone at a local bank cheated her out of a lot of money. I put her in touch with the president of that bank, a friend who works out at the same time I do. Afterward, he said "That chick's a psycho." A lady friend at the gym said "George, she's stalking you." Finally, I gave her a dollar bill and told her to go away. She started crying.
