Default Anybody got a Dell Inspiron 9200?

Basically, I can get the following notebook configuration for $1,666.34 (includes shipping and tax.)

1.80GHz Pentium M
Windows XP Home
17" WUXGA screen (1920x1200 resolution)
512MB RAM
128MB ATI Mobility 9700
40GB hard drive
24x CD-RW/DVD combo
Intel 802.11b/g wireless
Internal Bluttooth adapter

Has anybody else owned one of these? I know it's heavy - can it still be used comfortably on a lap while sitting on a couch? How hot does it get? Reliability? Screen quality? Gee-wiz factor?

I think a 17" screen is puching it. I have a Latitude D800 with the 15.4 WUXGA screen, and even though I absolutely love the high resolution, carrying it around is sometimes a chore. I would step down size/weight wise...it's not a big laptop, it's a small desktop

Nah, I don't really need something portable - I'm looking for a laptop. Literally. Something to set on my lap while I'm on the couch.

Thanks for the link to www.notebookforums.com. The Sanger laptops are, surprisingly, not much cheaper, if at all, than what I can get the Dell for...
