Default Anybody have a HONDA Mower ?

Did a search and didn't find anything: My S was lonely in the garage so I bought him a Honda cousin. Just bought a Honda mower at HD. It's a walk-behind self-propelled as my yard is average suburban-city lot. My hand-me down Craftsman died and I figured why not get the best. I just came in from cutting front and back lawns and I will say that it drives like an Honda: stiff, effortless, and VERY balanced. You can use your fingers to steer and manuever! It even sounds like a Honda!

Well, the downside is that my wife was furious when I told her the price tag

Anybody else have a 2nd special 4-stroke Honda in the garage?

What was the price tag? Any mods planned? Intake, wheels, Spoon style paint job?

I have an old one that has been to hell and back, but still does the job. It's 14 years old!

I have one about 6 years old. It has an ABS chassis so no worries about rust, etc.

Engine is bulletproof.

I have the self propelled 21" - intake, exhaust, header, 1" drop.
I also have a Honda snow blower - Mugen ECU, OEM front lip, grill guard.

We recently got a 2004 HRX217TDA. I love it! After every mow i detail it just like my car

The blades chop the grass so finely that even on full mulch you never get piles of grass. The Hydrostatic tranny would have been a nice option to have, but i am learning how to shift in the corners with this one I suggest this mower to anyone, its worth the investment!

Got a Honda new lawn mover last year - first brand new mower I've ever bought. (Been mowing lawns for 30 years.) I bought the non-self propelled version. I like the mower to be as light as possible so I can jog behind it & gets some exercize while I'm mowing.

Now I have a new S2000, a new Honda lawn mower & an old Honda snow blower.

The only mod is to the snow blower. I added another 'gear' to the CV transmission so it would crawl through snow drifts better. The new first gear is so low you can hardly see it move. Now the blower walks through 18" deep snow w/o having to wrestle it.
