Default Anybody interested in Ozzfest 2005?

I just saw they released the lineup for Ozzfest 2005. I must say, if anyone is into the heavy stuff (right here!), this is one to check out. Iron Maiden are playing right before Sabbath on the main stage, and the second stage is basically perfect. I can't get over how they seem to make it better and better every summer! This is one of those events that always seems to define my summers. I can't WAIT!!

I was very interested in going for Sabbath and Maiden.I like a lot of bands from the 2nd stage, but have seen all the ones I like already. I haven't seen Maiden before and this was the perfect chance since Bruce has said that on Ozzfest they will only play songs from their first 4 albums But just my luck, Maiden isn't playing the last 7 shows due to scheduling conflicts with a European tour, and houston is one of those dates. I'll probably still go for Sabbath but I'll just get lawn instead of the expensive seats.

Anthrax is most likely on it as well. I think they are just waiting for the official announcement from the band about their reunion with their old lineup before they officially announce them as part of the tour.

Ozzy is one of my favorite all time rockers. Looks like it is going to be a hell of a show

I'd be up for seeing Maiden I hear they are going to be playing songs exclusively from their first 4 albums, which were their best!

Wonder who's playing guitar for Ozzy, I don't think it's Zakk. The guy he used to tour with Joe Holmes was really good. Really pulled off a lot of the Randy Rhoads licks great live. I was disappointed he never got a shot in the studio with Ozzy.

Black Sabbath is headlining, so Tony Iommi is on guitar.

Maiden is playing only songs from the first 4 albums , which makes me even more pissed that they aren't playing the Houston show
