Default anybody used Wirefly.com

im looking to switch carriers as my At&t is up,......Wirefly.com is offering a new Droid 2 for 39.99 with new contract through them,.......only negatives i have read is that if you cancel service before contract is ended, wirefly as well as your new service you choose give you an early termination fee and make you buy the phone at non contract price,...this doesnt seem to be too big of an issue since i plan on keeping the service.

looks like theres either GREAT reviews or CRAP reviews,

generally I trust the crap reviews..I think wirefly might be padding the reviews by themselves. just my 2cents of 10 minutes of investigating

by the way, try reading the "good reviews"

it sounds scripted, written by the same person, and bullshit.

example:

http://www99.epinions.com/content_234840428164
http://www99.epinions.com/content_347780910724

where as every other review (bad) sounds like different people

:edit:

also, I generally believe 1 bad ~10 good. so if I read 10 bad reviews, I better read 100 good ones before I trust them with my money.

Those reviews are suspect as hell.

Long live Android!

did you check what offers Amazon is giving?

The past 2 times I've switched carriers I've gone through Amazon and received great deals on phones and its always been zero hassle.

Droid II 39.99 w/ new service on Amazon through Verizon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y3BM0...f_rd_i=13443341

the only way you have to pay full price for the phone is if you cancel the "Internet service" with verizon on the phone on in the first 180 days after your contract starts.

Otherwise its the typical cancellation fee via Verizon if you cancel your contract.

Just be careful... If you sign up and coverage ends up sucking to the point where you need to switch, you're going to be hit with a $600-700 bill for the phone as well as the $300 early termination fee... Personally I wouldn't risk a grand on some company I've never heard of that has shady reviews.
