---Thinking about going to Verizon. Dare phone---
So Im at edge wireless right now. They just merged with AT&T. Since they merged my contract is open. Either sign up with AT&T or Im able to walk out without paying a fee.
My close friends I talk to one the phone are on verizon. How do you like them? It ends up being another 5 bucks a month for me, but I get pictue and video messaging too. Which I dont have now. So its worth it.
How do all you like Verizon? I was at their store yesterday and played around with their new dare touch screen by LG. Anyone have that phone as well?

Before you sign another cell phone contract, you might want to read this:
California judge rules early cell phone termination fees illegal.
BTW, Verzion cell service (reception) is great. I've had service in places I didn't expect, like Death Valley. But their customer service is just god aweful, the worst. The only reason I'm staying w/ Verizon now is because I can get recption just about anywhere.

reception=A
Customer service=A+
phone reliability=B
Ive had a couple phones just completely go nuts with software issues and the such (nothing I did), BUT Verizon always replaced them with brand new models for free, and I don't have insurance.
Verizon gets my vote 100%!

With Verizon buying Alltel their coverage and customer service should get better. Personally I hate it that they're buying the best little company but at least they have far more phones to choose from. In the area I live in we had to give them up due to poor coverage. We will be moving back to them (no choice) when they buy Alltel.

I am waiting for the dust to settle on all the touch screen phones.
Battery life on those is in the toilet and they dont have all the kinks worked out yet.
Plus by waiting I will get the best version once the tech battle settles down

I have verizon and the dare...
at least for a year or two that ive had it verizon is top notch, never a missed call, never no receptoin, its been lightning fast with text messaging, bla bla bla..
as for the dare, hmmm as for the pros, its camera and video recording are unbeatable (literally, the dare has a 3.2 megapixel camera better quality than any other phone on the market), the technology is great, ive had it for a while and i still chuckle at little gadgets and gizmos that it has, the touch screen is pretty good (8/10) but u really just need to give it time to get used to it. internet access is soso, def faster than most phones but if ur looking for a web based phone than u should be in the market for a blackberry anyway.
as for cons, the touch screen can be annoying some times and txt messaging is somewhat hard but not impossible (i used to be a lightning fast texter and this phone slows me down a bit)
but all in all if ur a huge texter id say stay away (i probly bust out 50 txts a day with the dare and im fine w the dare) its a great touch screen phone, very slim, much smaller than the other monsterly huge touch screen phones out there, u never even feel it in ur pocket and it only gets hot if ur on the internet for a while, my friend and my brother both have the envy2 and im definitely glad i got the dare, plus it looks fuc*&in super sexy too, oh yeah plus the radiation levels arent too high either, if you care about that kind o thing....
8.5/10 for me, no regrets
