I'm doing a paper on the detailing industry. I've got a pretty good start and about to start on the financial aspects of the business next but I have a few questions which I'm sure is pretty familiar to those of you in the industry. If someone can answer these that would save me a great amount of time!! thanks for your help.

Is this industry dominated by large or small firms?
-What is the failure rate of the industry?
-What is the typical profitability in this industry? (I've read of some mobile detailers making a decent living but again my research shows me that this is a hard working industry which requires many hours)
-What are the positive and negative trends occurring in the
industry?

Any other input besides those questions would be great also!
