Anyone with a Breitling Chrono?
Usually for most chronographs, there are 2 buttons besides the stem/crown. There is one on top and one on bottom. After a battery is changed and the chronograph is reset everything is set at the 12 o clock position.
The top button starts the chronograph. If you press it again it stops the chronograph. Then pressing the bottom button resets the chronograph to the default settings. Theres also split chronos, I forget how to access that. I think after the initial stop by pressing the top button, you press the top button again for the split feature.
To set the chronographs, typically pulling the stem/crown out one notch and pressing/holding one of the buttons will make the needles on one or two with the bottom button of the mini dials move. Some watches still have the chronograph function working with one notch pulled out. Then you pull the Stem/crown out all the way to reset the other mini dial that couldnt be reset with one notch pulled out.
I dont have a Breitling, I just work in the jewelry industry. Many people on this board have breitling so maybe they can validate.
