Anyone else have a 'frequent flea market' friend?
So I have this co-worker that frequents the flea market. Apparently he gets some decent deals of stuff he needs.
However, he also takes note of other people's interests and makes purchases for them. Some of this stuff is just wierd.
For example: I walked into my office to see a set of Honda OEM wheel locks in the package. Fine, fine, whatever.
At first I moved them to the corner of my desk, but something else struck me as odd, and so I picked the package back up for a closer look. Turns out, the package contains four normal Honda lug nuts, and a wheel lock key.

So, someone is out there with wheel locks on their car and no key. And, my co-worker probably thinks he bought me a set of wheel locks.

I hope he didn't spend more than 50 cents on them.
So my question is, what crazy crap do others get from the dude they know that shops the flea markets and yard sales?

Here's another one...
Some time back, my co-worker picked me up a baseball cap for the team that I follow. He says he got it for a quarter.
Nice!
Except that it's fitted, and does not fit me.
And . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . IT'S USED!!! PREVIOUSLY WORN!!! It's spent who-knows-how-many hours on some other dude's sweaty head.
And, my co-worker has the nerve to ask why I don't wear it.
It hangs on the coat post in my office.

Here's the best one...
I went to Virginia Tech and so that's probably why my co-worker (who btw went to Georgia Tech, and yes that is relevant) picked up two, new sweat shirts commemorating Virginia Tech in the 2000 Gator Bowl.
So my co-worker hands them to me and asks me what I think... I told him they were very nice, except that Virginia Tech didn't play in the 2000 Gator Bowl. He swore up and down I was wrong. However, I graduated in 2000, and I distinctly remember our undefeated regular season and playing in the Sugar Bowl against Florida State for the national title (and losing
).
So we looked it up. Who was in the Gator Bowl in 2000? Miami and . . . . . wait for it . . . . . Georgia Tech.

From: All up in your inner tubes. Whatcha gonna do sucka?
I go to flea markets for video games, random odds and ends (like my dashboard Buddha), or if I have $20 that I feel like blowing on useless crap.
plus, I feel like a baller every time I roll up there in my s2000. I get dirty looks from all the mexicans.
