Anyone ever get sleep paralysis?
had it happen to me on a few separate occasions.
at first i was like, "WTF is going on!" as I'd see dark images around me, or hear things that weren't really there.
finally decided to look it up and was put at A LOT more ease when I actually found out about it. It's weird cuz now that I know about it, I kinda look forward to it happening when I take random naps.
I always try to 'break free' whenever I realize i'm undergoing sleep paralysis. but can never do it LOL
fyi, there are some crazy vids of ppl on youtube who are under sleep paralysis

I had sleep paralysis last night. I could see everything in the room as it was and my wife laying next to me and a guy over my bed and he was there to kill us. Oddly enough the guy looked like the giant from the movie big fish. I tried to yell and all it did was come out like if you tried to yell with your mouth barely open. ****ed up shit man.
That's weird that a lot of you had hallucinations with it. I didn't have that. Mine was like I could open my eyes, but I couldn't move any other muscles. If I tried to move, nothing happened and it just freaked me out more. Like I said, the second time it happened, I decided to just ride it out and it was much less disturbing (and it was over much more quickly). I think if you just realize what's happening and realize that it's normal (while it's happening), then your brain won't be overcome with other emotions (fear/strees/whatever), and it will allow you to 'recover' faster.

The first time it happened to me I was dreaming that a demon was trying to take my soul.
