I rarely play, but jesus..... i almost never even get 1 number. The chances of winning that thing is soo stupid.

I have played maybe 50 tickets and maybe total i have gotten a total of 5 numbers and never the powerball.

 

i actually came somewhat close i guess.....last year it was for $65 million i think......i matched 4 regular #'s out of possible 5, but didn't get the powerball....it only paid $100.....but if i would've gotten another # right it would've been for $5K or $100K.....

 

i won 2500 last week playing big 4 day time =)

 

Who hasn't played a lottery?!! Most I've ever won was like $25.

 

i won $2,800 in florida lottery. a family member was part of a work pool who hit it big, and each member got 6 digits.

i'll only play powerball if the payout at least matches the odds. something like 85 million to one,,,if the ACTUAL PAYOUT (after taxes, lump sum) is over 85, you're getting true odds or even better on your $1.

 

I play every week, usually only $1-$2, unless the jackpot is over $100 million. Then I'll throw down a $20.

I've won $100 before, and I got the powerball and the powerball plus 1 or 2 numbers a couple times.

 

Ill do it if the amount is over the odds. Then you know someone is going to win, and it just might be you.

 

there are the same odds of winning every single week. Just because the pool is up over $85M doesn't mean that someone is going to win.....

even if 85M people played in one week there are bound to be many duplicates so even then there is no guaranteed winner.....

The only way you could gaurantee that someone would win is if you requested a ticket for every combo possible......

It is fun to dream about what to piss $50M away on...... bitches, cars, bitches, cars, bitches, cars, bitches, cars.......

you are right. The thing is I stated myself wrong. Yes at 85mil the same chance is there, but I feel that at that point someone is going to win and for about 20 mil in the bank after cash option and taxes I'm in to play.
