I gave some to the redcross from amazon. I know a friend who works for Lynch and he tells me his company is matching every dollar he donates.

i dont know much about the red cross so i dont know if anywhere near 100% of your donation will get to where it needs to go, but this is an easy way to do it.

A normal sized businss pays about 2% for most credit card charges..... Amex is closer to 3%.

Some little bike shop that rarely gets credit card payments may end up paying a higher %, but I would think a big place like UNICEF is probably about 1% or less.

I think's it's more like 2% on average. They base it on how much sales the "place of business" does.
