Costco for their lifetime return policy.

Think of it as a free upgrade for life.
That is just wrong and immoral!

I heard the execs are thinking about implementing a new 3-month return/exchange policy. Good for them! A lot of Costco's customers are leeches, who will use every opportunity to suck every drop of blood. One example is my aunt (in-law), who is super, super rich - worth almost $60 million, yet she's an absolute leech (and bitch). She buys stuff from Costco and keeps on exchanging for such reason.

Check with a friend who has discounts on panasonic and companies like that...prices are usually about 50% or less than what best buy or a similar retailer would charge.

I know panasonic and phillips give my fellow employees freakin great discounts. the best I remember off the top of my head was around a $4000 plasma for like $1600, free shipping.

Is it wrong and immoral for Best Buy to make 40% on that TV you just bought and then ask you for another $200-500 for a 4-5 year warranty?

Every major purchase I am going to make will be at Costco because of their return policy. Currently have purchased 4 tvs, a camera, and a laptop over the past year from Costco and love the place.

Take you hatred for Costco out on your Aunt.

i called Costco about this (which i seems lame to me to return something over a year old just to upgrade....maybe if it broke...?).... anyway... they said you hvae to have the "original packaging"...

which means that HUGEASS box..... not sure where the hell I would tuck that away out of sight?

I will just go to Circuit City I think.... I need a TV on Saturday...

Wow you have a lot of respect for a company that would turn you over and do you dry if it made them a few cents. You seem to have a very skewed view on morality and ethics in the buisness world.
