yikes you better get that looked at mikey!
False alarm, I had popcorn (with a little garlic powder on it ) about 3 days ago and I found a kernel in there. I brush 2-3 times a day but it was behind the rearmost tooth, between the gum. Disgusting, but a relief. Now we'll see if it becomes less tender. It's not a big deal, not impeding eating or gross or discolored or anything, just very slightly swollen compared to the other side, but in your mouth you can feel everything like it's monumental.

Grinder here. Broke one tooth, chipped almost all in the front.

You can get the dentist to make you a mouth guard or buy a football mouth guard from Target for $2 and cut enough off of it to make it comfortable while you sleep. Slice one down so its comfortable but not small enough that you could swallow. Heat and fit. Presto. My dentist wanted several hundred for a custom.
That was my response when he said it was going to cost me $300+ for a custom that I would wear down anyway and need to replace yearly. I think I'll go buy one and customize it for my mouth. If I hold my teeth almost together there is a perfectly equal distance between every tooth (top to bottom) which means I've ground down everything that used to be longer. Oh well, I'll nab some nice porcelain ones if I grind to nubs

you need a dental appliance, it's probably bruxism.

I get no response on my speedy image creation? Come ON! That's gold, Jerry. GOLD.

Lazy ungrateful punks. I'm uninstalling Photoshop as a result of this.
