wow.

I'm 25 and they have been happening less and less. They used to happen a several times a year now its down to a couple.

I think, for me, they happen if I'm hunched over the computer a lot or if I lay around. If I'm active they seem to not happen as much.

I too thought I had some kind of heart problem.

Maybe I got it. I get something like that, toward the sternum on the left side. Usually during exercise, but it goes away and exercising harder makes it go away too. And if I press on the spot that hurts, I do not feel it until I let go.

Sound similar? It feels like something is really tight, so I just take deeper breaths to stretch that f'er out.

Well I would highly suggest you visit a doctor if you are experiencing chest pain. Internet diagnosis by reading wikipedia is a very bad idea.

I'm so bored I bit on this and am floored as I too get those. I kinda feel better knowing now. On a similar note I scared myself into going to have a physical in the fall of '05 because my heart felt like it was going to tear itself loose and take off down the road without me. It felt like I had ran up a couple of stairwells even though I would be asleep or sitting down. I felt no pain or shortness of breath - nothing out of the ordinary just a racing heart - pumping hard and fast. After a myriad of tests it was determined that I might want to stop drinking 4 red bulls, 2-3 cups of cofee and that many cokes combined a day...

I completely have this!!

When the pain is there its the longest 2 minutes of my life..

My GF freaks out when I get these because I cant respond or move out of a ball when shes asking me "Whats wrong" "Should I do something?"

Glad to see Im not having heart attacks. It feels like it though!

BTW - I drink NOTHING other than Pepsi and Coke. Everyday, all day. Maybe sometimes some alcohol and sprite.

Theres so many of us out there!! Wonder if we can get on disability?? haha..

We should meet up!
