i know about how/what/when and how often to feed them.
i have 3 flowerhorns, a 7 inch long read ear slider turtle and a 12 inch redtail catfish.

i feed them everything from feeder goldfish, frogs (turtle eats anything and everything), mealworms, shrimp and pellets.

You can tell by the scales and how it starts forming. A better picture will provide the actually quality of the fish. Like the saying goes: One man's trash is another man's treasure. Well I can say that "Who would want a deformed goldfish with a tumor?" But I appreciate and admire healthy flowerhorns and arowanas.
