I need to get into contact with TheCop, he originally sold me an ecu that turned out not to be the 03 ecu like he said, no biggie, i sent it back, he said he'd refund my money....UPS lost it, but later recovered it, it arrived to him. He said the package was smashed, but the ecu was not physically damaged, but did not want to refund my money because he didnt know if it worked or not. he didnt have any pics to show me, and said he couldnt try to see if the ecu worked, i said ok, ill make a insurance claim if he's so sure its damaged. BTW, i packaged it quite well, so im not so certain its damaged, but regardless, I told him UPS was going to pick it up to verify it was damaged, and never heard back from him, its been a few months now, and I want my refund, hasnt returned numerous emails. If anyone has a way to contact him, id greatly appreciate it.

 

well that sucks..... who is " the cop"? I don't even recall seeing him on this board..... hopefully you didn't pay much? where is he located? Maybe a different member from near him knows "the cop"??

edit - he is from Olympia, washington and you paid $250.00 for it..... you tried to sell it as a 2003 at some point....that seems pretty sleazy.? If you knew it was not a 2003 why would you try to sell as a 2003?

 

i bought it thinking i would use it, decided im gonna build my spare f20c, boost it and go aem ems. it sat in my closest untouched until i sold it, the guy who i sold it to realized it wasnt an 03, i refunded his money, he sent it back, i told thecop it wasnt an 03, he said he didnt know either and to send it back and he'd refund me as well....

 

gotcha.... well that sucks for you so far.... hopefully the cop steps up and refunds your $. You should post in the NorthWest forum and see if anyone knows much about him. Maybe he is sick or on vacation and unable to get back to you?

 

TheCop used to post in the NW forum on a regular basis earlier in the year. Then we never heard from him.

I don't think anyone from the NW region has ever met the guy.

TheCop is a cop in Tacoma, WA. Now, go kick his butt! Make sure you bring a gang with you. I think he also has a gang, but his gang is pretty big.
