Sort of offtopic, but... i sent him some $ (western unioned last monday)for those wheels he was selling, and haven't heard a word from him.... it has been over a week, and no wheels and no email and no return phone call.?

is he alright? is he out of town?

Has anybody on this board ever gotten stiffed after sending money to someone? What do you do if that happens?

 

Most of us here in the bay area know him, have met him or know of him. I assume you've sent him email, correct? I would not worry yet.

 

We have helped each other out with some hardware and he is a straight up guy. Maybe tied up with business or something but you have nothing to worry about.

 

I think we all get together, hunt them down and then hang them.

Scott, when did you move to Alaska? Maybe the Fex Ex truck can't find your place.

Scot, I think you have been ripped off. This is the same guy who wanted me to send him money for the same wheels and never bothered to tell me he was cancelling the deal.

 

I have my fingers crossed. I spoke to Marcus several times
on the phone to confirm everything, then i haven't heard a word.

I did check his status here on the boards, and he seems like a
good guy, so I will assume he is out on business.......

I know him, should be ok though, he kinda comes and goes but is a good guy. Has some family problems so he disapears from time to time, but I've bought stuff from him and he's cool. Don't trip, just yet hahha send him an email, and leave some harassing messages on his machine That'll shape him up hahhahah

 

Cdelena - i hope this is true, but I am getting an ill feeling about this. It seems odd that he hasn't even opened the emails that i sent a week ago (we both have AOL/Compuserve, so I can check that)...????
