It's the original CrewCab.

Looks like a great tow vehicle for autoX but I guess I'd have to drop a turbo 911 motor in it just to make sure it had enough "pulling power"!

About 10 years ago I went to Ruf's little shop in Germany and they were just finishing a VW van for a customer it had all 911 running gear, suspension, and brakes. It also had 6 Recaro seats and each seat had it's own phone. That is probably the only mini van I would own.

Somewhere in california took one of these (all wheel drive) and dropped in a 350 with about 400 hp. I guess it would spin all 4 wheels and do sixty in about 4.8 seconds....hehe.. that would be pretty cool.

Does it float? Looks like an amphibious vehicle to me!
