Hey,

Just wondering what it is like to travel in Saudi Arabia, more specifically, Jeddah.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I would need to go for about 2 days...

I know there a few guys on here from Saudi, please chime in and let me know your thoughts. Not knowing much about the region, I would like to get somewhat acquanted with the culture and safety concerns prior to going.

It's not a recommended place to go for Americans. Big safety concerns. Unless of course you don't look like an "American".

I do look American, but have dual citizenship with Ireland, not that it helps in that neck of the woods...

 

I'd avoid it unless it was 100% essential.

 

Why on earth would you wanna go there? Not to sound rude, but unless its for business i'd deffinitly avoid that.
