Anyone still like the Beastie Boys??

Well, you could have just come out and said you have never listened to them very much and are not qualified to speak on the subject...
Seriously, you've probably heard one album, mostly likely Licensed to Ill, and also don't understand how intricate the sounds are. Maybe you heard a track off Paul's Bouqtique, which while similar, is much different.

Check Your Head, Ill Communication, In Sound From Way Out, Hello Nasty ... completely different.

Polly Wog Stew (1st EP in 82) was hard punk.

Beastie Boys? Like Eminem, Limp Bizkits (sp?), etc., there's nothing "beasty" about them. What's with all these boys trying to rhyme? They look foolish and funny. Leave it to the black folks! I can remember seeing Limp Bizkits rhyme in one of their songs 'Rolling Rolling...',

If they "left it to the black folks" hip-hop as you know it today would not exist. They helped bring it to the 'burbs and let record labels know that it was commercially viable.

Check Your Head is on my all-time Top Twenty list.

You can get their entire catalog on vinyl (for all the eclectics like me out there).

I heard snippets of their new album today, and it is very good. The rhymes and beats are all on point. You could say they have evolved over the time (not a whole lot for the Beastie Boys), but that just comes in with any solo artists and groups from Rakim to Cypress Hill...
