Default Anyone use Minocin to treat Acne?

I went to my derm. recently and he prescribed minocin yo treat my acne.. I've only been on it for a week so results aren't visible yet (He said it usually takes a few weeks for it to take effect)

I was wondering if anyone else has used this, and what results were shown from the treatment? Also, any side effects? I have the medication for the next 3 months, so we'll see if it works..

it should take at least 6 weeks before you notice any effect and it will be gradual. Don't expect it to completely gone over night. Side effects include photosensitivity to sunlight, avoid prolong exposure if possible or protect yourself with sunscreen, etc... Don't take with dairy or anything that contains calcium aluminum, iron, and magnesium. If you're a woman then don't get pregnant while taking this or your kid will come out looking different. Good luck.
