I've done MANY sections of the AT and dream of doing the entire AT south to north like you are.
I wish you all the best and will follow your youtube channel.
A lot of planning goes into this, and its a bigger commitment than many would believe.
Wish I had your strength to follow through. good luck!

If you need anything as you cross the Lehigh River / Lehigh Gap in Pennsylvania do not hesitate to ask. If I'm home, I'll help anyway I can.
FYI, you can shower and sleep at the Palmerton PA Police Dept but you probably already knew that.

Work your way south, not north to minimize the effects of weather. Winter comes early in New England.
A friend of my daughter's just did this last year with her new husband. Radical honeymoon!
Looks like it runs right down the Blue Ridge here in Virginia where the altitudes are normally high enough to temper summer temperatures. Gets as high to 5500 feet as I recall.

it can be done and many have done it, but it poses more challenges and probably not the best for your first go.
easyiest and most common trek is south to north....march to August

South-North, March to August makes sense. Starting in June, after the colleges get out, puts a northern finish in the November time frame. Anyone have any age demographic information for trekkers? I've been assuming college-age and a bit older is the most likely.
We used to run across trekkers near the Army's Mountain Ranger Camp in the old days. Interesting interactions at 0300.
