Is it appropriate to use an image of Hitler in your sig?

Honestly.....being jewish......

A person having a Hitler sig on a PUBLIC forum is a disgusting. People are clueless about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech does not give you the right to slander others. You want to believe something, good for you, keep it in the closet. If I walked by someone's car, and saw they had a bumper sticker of hitler on your car, I would probably break their windshield. People who are half intelligent, jewish or not, would never look up to, admire, or glorify Hitler. (although Hitler killed many jews), he hated, blacks, asians, hispanics, and almost every other race.

In this case however, as long as people understand why you posted the pic, I see nothing wrong with it. ....and an accidental NAZI corner

Racial slander is not freedom of speech. You cannot call people niggers, kykes, gooks.....spicks.....etc.....you CAN sue someone for that and WIN.....freedom of speech entails everything EXCEPT slandering others. You dont have to be politically correct, but this level of slander is NOT freedom of speech.

To respond to the thread title, I guess I would say it is inappropriate to use the image of Hitler simply to get attention.

Lets look at what the man represents. Hatred, ignorance, genocide, intolerace, viciousness, greed, paranoia, insanity, corrupt, power gone wrong. Equating the deletion of a few posts on a car forum with the slaughter of thousands upon thousands in a hellbent scheme for world domination seems like a bit of exaggeration, does it not? Associating my350Z.com with Hitler is not what most people would recognize as a form of humor.

If you want people to question your judgement, post pictures of Hitler in your sig to make an inane point. Use people like Mussolini, Pol Pot, Baby Doc, etc. to show what a funny guy you are, and you will find very few people laughing. Maybe you dislike most people, and would prefer to be friends with advocates of totalitarian regimes that systematically murder people that belong to groups outside of your own. That is your right. Don't act surprised when people assume you are a raving lunatic with nothing to offer.

It bothers me to see people using images like Hitler's pose with no apparent understanding of what they signify. He really existed, and the things you see in documentaries and movies really happened, and not that long ago. It isn't funny at all. It is scary real. Even today, these kinds of things still happen. How is that a source of humor? Can anyone really look at a picture of Hitler and not see huge piles of the emaciated corpses of his victims in concentration camps? Are you suggesting that "intelligent" people can see around that? If that is your method for identifying intelligence, God help you.
